What can you build with the bricks you already have?
Photograph your loose bricks, check and correct what the AI detected, and save them to your inventory. Then ask for a build. In Voxel Art and LDraw 3D modes, a build is completed only if it fits the part types, colors, sizes and counts in the inventory you submit; Realistic mode may need extra parts. Sample bricks are shown and submitted by default, so hide them first if you want a build from your own bricks only. Check the result against your real bricks before you build.

Step by step
Photograph your bricks
Spread the bricks on a plain surface so they do not overlap, and take a close, well-lit JPEG, PNG or WebP photo. On Scan, choose Upload Photo, or Take Photo on a phone. Each scan uses one of your 20 daily AI scans.
Review what the AI found
In the scan review, delete wrong detections and correct quantities. If you like, add tags such as “castle” to the scan.
Add them to your inventory
Choose Add to Inventory. Your inventory is saved to your account, and you can add more bricks with later scans.
Ask for a build
On Build, choose a build mode (Voxel Art, LDraw 3D or Realistic), a difficulty and, if you like, what to build. Each build uses one of your 10 daily AI generations.
Follow the 3D guide
Open the finished build in the 3D viewer and go through it one step at a time. The Before you assemble panel shows how the plan compares with your inventory and any structural warnings.
Record your real build (optional)
While you build with real bricks, you can record that you started, report a problem such as missing pieces or a connection problem, or report that you finished. These reports are saved to your account.
No bricks to hand?
On a first visit, your inventory shows sample bricks, marked Sample, so you can open Build and try a build without scanning anything. The build still uses one of your daily AI generations. Choose Hide sample bricks when you want to build only from your own bricks; Try with sample bricks brings them back.
To try scanning, sign in, open Scan and choose one of the sample photos under Try a sample photo. There are three, from Level 1 (few bricks) to Level 3 (many bricks), so you can see the whole flow. A sample scan counts toward your daily scan allowance like any other scan.
If you would rather start from a picture of something you want to build, a photo design needs no bricks at all.
What “built from your bricks” means
- Voxel Art and LDraw 3D compare the plan with the inventory you submit: part type, shape, color, size, height and count. A build does not have to use every brick, but if no model fits, the build fails instead of returning one that needs parts you don’t have. The request still counts toward your daily allowance.
- These two modes build mostly from rectangular bricks, plates and tiles, so your inventory needs at least one of them. Special pieces such as slopes are used only where they can replace a same-color brick on the surface of the model.
- Realistic mode designs with catalog parts and may need extra parts. It still shows how the plan compares with your inventory, but a mismatch does not stop the result.
- The comparison is with the digital inventory you submit (your saved bricks plus any sample bricks still shown), not your physical bricks. Scan mistakes and different parts that look alike can make the two differ.
- Voxel Art and LDraw 3D builds are also analyzed for connections, stability and assembly order, with up to three automatic attempts. Results can still carry warnings.
Ideas to start with
The Build screen suggests quick ideas such as an airplane, a castle, a car, a rocket, a robot or an animal. You can also type your own idea or leave the field empty.
How close the result gets to your idea depends on the colors, sizes and counts of the bricks you have.
Questions about this guide
Will the build use only bricks I own?
In Voxel Art and LDraw 3D modes, yes, as long as sample bricks are hidden and your saved inventory is accurate: the plan has to fit the part types, colors, sizes and counts you submit. Sample bricks are shown by default and sent with your build until you choose Hide sample bricks on Build or Inventory; while they are shown, a plan can use sample pieces you don’t own. Realistic mode may need parts you don’t have.
What happens if my bricks aren’t enough?
In Voxel Art and LDraw 3D modes with sample bricks hidden, the build fails rather than asking for parts you don’t have, and the request still counts toward your daily allowance. Try another idea or difficulty, or scan more bricks.
Can I try it without scanning my own bricks?
Yes. On a first visit your inventory already shows sample bricks, so you can go straight to Build; the build uses one of your daily AI generations. To try scanning, open Scan and choose one of the three sample photos. You need to sign in first, and a sample scan uses one of your daily scans.
Do I have to say what to build?
No. The “What to build?” field is optional. Leave it empty, pick a suggested idea or type your own.
